[Wednesday, March 6] MGM COTAI hosted a special 1st anniversary celebration with a carnival-themed party for all of its team members at the property’s back-of-the-house area today, as a token of appreciation for their dedication throughout the year. In addition to a scrumptious menu and a series of performances, MGM’s Board of Directors attended the celebration event, making the occasion more special.
The celebration kicked off with a speech by Ms. Pansy Ho, Co-Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, which was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony with a towering chocolate sculpture and birthday cake, specially made in resemblance of MGM COTAI’s exteriors. MGM’s senior management team also sincerely thanked the team members by serving scrumptious dishes to their colleagues at the Employee Dining Room.
Ms. Pansy Ho, Co-Chairperson & Executive Director, MGM China Holdings Limited, thanked the Golden Lion Team for their dedication and enthusiasm to always strive for the best, “In the recently-announced ‘Outline Development Plan for the Greater Bay Area’, Macau will be developed into a base for exchange and cooperation where Chinese culture is the main stream and diverse cultures coexist. With art and entertainment being at the heart of our brand over the past 11 years, we have established ourselves as a leader in cultural tourism. Taking the lead in this direction, we are confident that together with the unity and hard work of our team members, we can seize the opportunities brought about by this new era for both MGM and Macau.”
The employee area was kept busy with laughter and cheers as a range of game stalls were set up as part of the celebration. In addition, relaxing massage sessions performed by professional Chinese medical therapists were specially arranged for all staff to unwind during break time throughout this special day.
