Greater Bay Area Cultural Heritage Forum – Call for Submission of Photographs of Revitalised Historic Buildings

Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and co-organized by MGM, the “Greater Bay Area Cultural Heritage Forum – Call for Photographs of Revitalised Historic Buildings” aims to showcase the achievements of the revitalization of historic buildings in Macao from the perspective of the general public. Spanning the streets and alleys of Macao, these revitalized architectural gems have become iconic public facilities that are closely connected with the daily life of the community.

Through this campaign, people of all ages will be able to explore and participate in the conservation of historic buildings in Macao, and convey the aesthetics and unique allure through the art of photography. We look forward to your participation and mesmerizing stories of collective memories and write a vibrant new chapter for the city.

Format

All entries will be evaluated by the judging panel. Winners will be selected in the following groups:

Key Dates

  • Submission deadline: September 22, 2024
  • Winner announcement: September 2024
  • Exhibition: Late October to December 2024
  • Award ceremony: November 1, 2024

Submission of Entries

  • Participants can obtain the regulation and application form from the date of announcement until the submission deadline through the following methods:
    • Free download from this campaign webpage
    • At the front desk of the Department of Cultural Heritage, located at Rua de Sanches de Miranda, No. 5-7
    • Email to GBA-CH@icm.gov.mo
  • Digital files, along with a copy of personal identification documents and completed application form are to be submitted to GBA-CH@icm.gov.mo
  • Participants in the Student Group are required to include a copy of their student ID and a signed "Guardian’s Statement " from their guardian.
  • After submission via email, participants will receive a confirmation email from the organizer. Participants should check whether their entries have been submitted successfully.
