December 9 - MGM Winter Go Brings to Town Spectacular Festive Experiences

[Thursday, December 9] The jolliest season calls for the most spectacular and fun-packed experiences – this very winter, the ultimate MGM Winter Go is revealing the true gem of the holiday season with a splendid array of festive happenings and seasonal dining delicacies at MGM COTAI.

Spectacle Go

The festive wonder starts at the Spectacle, an atrium transformed into a winter sports wonderland for the season. Filled with artistic treasures in celebration of winter sport, the center of this mesmerizing gallery stands a 6-meter-tall winter-themed installation, comprised of a set of ski lift and ski gears. Alongside many other festive decorations all over the atrium, the Spectacle is the perfect place to take off to the enchanting journey of festivity here at MGM COTAI.

Flying Penguin Go

Performing daily at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm as usual, the crowd’s favorite Sea Odyssey aquatic show welcomes a group of new seasonal performers – the Flying Penguins, who will also be gliding under the engineering marvel of the Spectacle roof. 360° surrounded by the lively animation projecting on the 25 LED screens all over the Spectacle, the show truly enables guests to immerse themselves into the astonishing world of the Antarctic ocean.

Winter Delicacies Go

Tis the season to indulge a table full of festive delicacies with family and friends – a winter sport-inspired afternoon tea set, pastries, and fondues, would totally make the festive season a very merry one. The Pastry Team of Anytime has created a series of vivid festive pastries to impress all sweet tooths in town. Not only this lineup of delicious creations comes with fun and adorable looks, the layering of flavors is also thoughtfully curated with made-for-the-season ingredients, such as cinnamon, ginger, and chestnut. Those are certainly the perfect delicacies to enjoy during the frosty season, for both the sight and palate.

A cozy winter is all about a heartwarming cup of hot chocolate – nothing compares to enjoying the Cocoa Bombs, a one-of-a-kind hot chocolate specialty drink of a balloon of chocolate loaded with marshmallow and cocoa powder melt into a velvety hot chocolate with steaming hot Japanese milk, served at Anytime, located at the heart of the Spectacle winter sports village. To stir up the festivity, the restaurant also serves an array of seasonal staples, including classic festive beverages like the Gluhwein, Buttered Rum and Eggnog, Cheese Fondue and Chocolate Fondue, as well as an extensive selection of seasonal gifts, such as the limited-edition box set of five-colored donuts. In the month of December, Anytime also extends its opening hours till 12am every Thursday to Sunday, where guests may savor the delish offerings at the restaurant and immerse into the winter wonderland at the Spectacle.

Sparkling even more fun and joy to the season, kids may unleash their creativity in the Sweet Tooth Workshops at Anytime, from 13:30 to 17:30 on every December Saturday and Sunday (Excluding December 26). Kids, and also parents, are invited to decorate their own edible masterpiece while also enjoying some precious parent-children times. Each seat is priced at MOP 150* and guests receive a 50% off discount with spending at any dining outlet of MGM COTAI. Reservation in advance is required.

2 Hours Music Marathon Go

MGM also joins hands with StarMusic Center to present a two-hour non-stop “Music Marathon” on December 26, 15:00 to 17:00. The performance, performed by 40 local junior pianists, will present 30 classic winter pieces to fill the air with magical festivity at Spectacle on boxing day.

The Ski Project Seasonal Concept Store

On top of the exciting array of happenings celebrating winter sports and festivity, the Spectacle will also be opening The Ski Project seasonal concept store this winter, a one-stop-shop destination for winter and outdoor fashionistas. The brand is now bringing its first store to Macau, which showcases a sophisticated, fun, and modern selection of the best of winter fashion to discover from all over the world, including winter wear, accessory, and boots – everything one could need to pursue any winter activity.
