April 6 - MGM PRESENTS THE HEARTENING TASTE OF WUHAN HOT DRY NOODLES

[Monday, April 6] After two months of fighting the epidemic, Wuhan, Hubei is finally easing off from the lockdown measure on April 8, marking an initial victory of this anti-epidemic battle. To send wishes to the people of Wuhan and the rest of our nation on their return to normal lives, MGM is introducing a series of authentic delicacies of Hubei to the Macau public, including their signature dish Hot Dry Noodles, at selected restaurants of both MGM MACAU and MGM COTAI. Aside from the celebration of our proud Chinese staple food culture, MGM also hopes to empower its guests with the taste of warmth for heart and soul, and most importantly to hearten the people of Wuhan.

Empowering the People with the Taste of the Locals

Originated from Wuhan, Hot Dry Noodles is a staple breakfast dish as well as the most iconic comfort food in Wuhan. People in Wuhan values breakfast culture, as it is the essential meal to recharge themselves in welcoming a brand new day. Yet, the epidemic has loused up the daily routine we all took for granted, even going out for breakfast has become a luxurious matter. Beginning to see the light of victory, MGM wishes to close the distance between Wuhan and Macau with a bowl of Hot Dry Noodles and share the love and care for Wuhan with its guests.

The True Spirit behind Hot Dry Noodles

Although Hot Dry Noodles seems an ordinary noodle dish created by the grassroots, it is yet one of the best dishes to represent the culture of Chinese staple food, which has earned an array of national gastronomic recognitions, including the title of “Five Acclaimed Noodles in China” and the first place of “China’s Ten Best Noodles”. The essences of a bowl of Hot Dry Noodles are the thin yet resilient noodles, and the sesame sauce that is both bitter and sweet, which best demonstrate Chinese people’s virtue of perseverance.

MGM’s experienced Hubei chefs are taking over the kitchens to create the most authentic Hot Dry Noodles, following the traditional recipes: hand-pulled, thin and al dente noodles mixed in sesame oil, sesame sauce, soy sauce and pickled spicy radishes, and then seasoned with the handmade spicy sauce that infuses a variety of spices and herbs. Before indulging into the heavenly bowl of noodles, mix the noodles well with a special technique “Three Turns and Nine Mixes” to elevate the experience. The Hot Dry Noodles is priced at MOP68*.

On top of the Hot Dry Noodles, MGM also offers two other Hubei classic specialties, Steamed sliced pork belly with five-spice and glutinous rice flour and Steamed minced pork and glutinous rice balls, priced at MOP138* and MOP 64/128* respectively. Adored by the locals, these signature dishes along with Hot Dry Noodles are available starting from April 6 at Imperial Court and Square Eight at MGM MACAU, Chún and Hao Guo at MGM COTAI. You are cordially invited to support Hubei with its authentic noodles! For reservations and enquiries, please call (853) 8802 3888 or visit www.mgm.mo.
